Visit the several landmarks built by
the mystical elf like people of Hawaii called Menehune's. There is a Menehune
Fishpond and a Menehune
Ditch.
Explore the beauty of Kauai by renting a
car. There are many beautiful scenic and historic spots to stop at along your journey.
Stop in Hanalei, at a green
sand beach, a Russian Fort, Spouting
Horn, eucalyptus tree tunnel, many
roadside waterfalls, and Waimea
Canyon. All tours offer spectacular views, bring lots of film! A car rental
averages $50 per day.
Snorkeling
allows you to explore Hawaii's unique marine life. Rentals average about $10 a day.
Prescription goggles are available from some rental agents.
Catch some rays, swim in the ocean, and
relax at the beach. Don't forget your waterproof sunscreen with an SPF
above 15.
