Hurricane
Bay is a huge wave pool where you can body surf or ride 2-4 foot waves in a tube.
Typically twice a day the pool is cleared and you are able to rent boogie boards and catch
some killer waves. The pool is usually packed during the tube time and but there is lots
of room to play when it is boogie boarding time! If you want a tube ride with a little
less action Kapolei Kooler is a 800 foot long continuous river that you can enjoy a
relaxing ride on.
Hawaiian
Adventures Water Park is located on the west side of Oahu, exit 1 off H1, about a 45
minute ride from Waikiki. The park typically opens at 10:30am but hours are subject to
change and some rides may be shut down periodically for maintenance. We recommend calling
(808) WILD-Wave for up-to-date park hours. Admission is Regular Price: $29.99 + tax, Child
Rate 11 years & under: $19.99 + tax, Seniors 60 years and over: $9.99 + tax, Children
under 3 years: Free, Handicap (wheelchair): Free
Tips: * For rides that utilize tubes, you acquire a tube by waiting in line at the rides' exit. After the person who just went on the ride is done they hand off the tube to the next person in line as they exit the ride. You are not allowed to take the tube away from the ride and there is no tube hogging- you must hand it off to the next person waiting. * Bring a pair of water shoes or slippers to wear while walking around the park, the sidewalks get very hot! * Park users are not allowed to bring in any outside food or beverages into the park. There is food and beverages for sale at the park as well as a bar. * Other features at the park are a beach volleyball court, picnic areas, arcade, lawn chairs, changing room with showers, locker rentals ($3), and a gift shop. * Lifejackets are available for use at no cost at the locker rental station. * Boogie board rentals and towel rentals are also available.
